Mission
As the Budget & Marketing Investment Effectiveness Manager, you will serve as the critical link between marketing strategy and financial execution. Your mission is to ensure optimal allocation and utilization of marketing budgets across markets and channels, driving disciplined spending while maximizing return on investment (ROI). You will enable data-backed decision-making to enhance the efficiency and impact of global marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Budget Management & Oversight
Consolidate, manage, and track regional marketing budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
Lead the budget allocation process in collaboration with country marketing teams and headquarters stakeholders.
Monitor budget execution, identify variances, and provide proactive recommendations for reallocation or optimization.
2. ROI Analysis & Performance Modeling
Develop and maintain robust ROI (Return on Investment) analysis frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing spend across markets, channels, and campaigns.
Produce regular performance reports detailing insights into cost efficiency, scalability of channels, and ROI trends.
Collaborate with data and analytics teams to integrate advanced metrics and predictive modeling into budget planning.
3.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Finance to ensure accurate budget forecasting, reporting, and compliance with financial policies.
Work with procurement to streamline purchasing processes, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-efficient vendor partnerships.
Serve as the key point of contact for marketing budget-related audits and financial reviews.
4.Process Improvement
Design and implement standardized processes for budget request, approval, tracking, and post-campaign analysis.
Develop tools and dashboards to enhance transparency and accessibility of budget and performance data for stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in marketing finance, budget management, ROI analysis, or business analytics, preferably in a global or multi-market organization.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI), and budgeting software.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Procurement, Marketing).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying and solving problems.
