Inhouse Logistics includes sub-projects, Line feeding and Factory Feeding. The 3rd industrial hub in China will include different manufacturing and assembly operations, including Chassis assembly, Cab Assembly, Bodyshop and Powertrain, with material flow and logistical setup to support these operations. Logistic Engineer / Business Solution development is the local engineer of specific sub-process area, who will work with the local perspective participate and contribute with global project resources in the solution design for SAP and MES. This person also contributes to change management activities (e.g., communication, training and collecting solution improvement suggestions). Also coordinates cross processes activities between each engineering in the PRU′s ensuring dependencies and interfaces during development process. Build knowledge as key user with all preparation, configuration and tests to ensure all implementation to SOP and SOCOP.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
? Follow Scania SHE and Quality guideline
? PFEP update and system master data configuration
? Well familiar with inhouse logistics flow/supply method/layout
? Well familiar with workload calculation and line balance
? Well familiar with modular wagon, package and logistics tooling design and development
? Good cooperation with stakeholders, e.g. production, line feeding, factory feeding, IT, etc.
? Automation and Digitalization solutions definition according to logistics process
? Secure Global process standards locally
Other tasks assigned by manager
Education and/or Experience
? Bachelor degree
? SAP experience preferable
? Power BI experience preferable
? Logistics automation solution experience preferable, e.g. ASRS, AGV
? Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics engineering in automobile industry
? 0->1 project and now build factory experience preferable
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
?? Good knowledge for inhouse logistics.
? English can be working language for communication, reading and written.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
? Good communication and cooperation skill.
? Good presentation skill.
? Good at generalization and summarization.
? Can-do attitude, active, engagement, commitment.
